a great date night !!!!!

So Last night we had our date night since we didn't get to go out for Valentine's we went out last night !!! We dropped Riley off at Mimi's and then we went to Dave N Buster's and ate and had the best meal !! We both had the same steak and it was sooooo good ...... I wish I had it right now again lol !!!!! Then we went down and played lots of games and got tons of tickets .... we had over 8,000 tickets so we got Riley several stuffed animals and one of them was a big pony ...so cute !!!!!!!! We had so much fun..... well at least I did !!!! It is so nice being able to get out of the house =) Now I wanna get out and do lots of stuff but of course we have to limit it b/c it costs to much to do stuff !!!!!!!! But last night was so much fun ....... Now maybe our big night out can be my bday =) !!!!!! I am going to have to start thinking about what I wanna do for my birthday !!!!!!!!!! I can't believe I will be 29 =( tear lol !!!! Where does the time go !!!! Sometimes..... it still feels like I should be 16 lol !!!!!

I love Dave N Busters also b/c that was where we went on our first date ....... We went to eat at CheeseCake Factory then there and played tons of games then =) we went out for our first date then spent every weekend together after that ,,,,, and we haven't even been married a yr yet and we already have a baby lol !!!!

Valentine's Day !!!!!!!!!!

So Cody was sick last Tues night till about Thursday and Friday he felt much better only come Friday morning ...... I WAS SICK !!!!!!!!!!!!! Here I was starting getting sick and I don't think I have ever been so sick in my entire life !!!!!!! so I was sick Friday till Sunday but Sunday still didn't feel too great and of course Sunday was Valentine's Day =( !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to go out and do something fun since I hadnt been ab;e to much and here I was sick and didn't feel like it !!!!! Friday when I was so sick in bed though ,,,, Cody had flowers delivered to me but of course I didnt hear the door b/c I was supposed to answer the door and get them but he ended up getting them on the porch and bringing them up to me !!!!!

Anyways .... Sunday I felt better but not totally 100 % so we just laid around on the couch and watched tv and it was so nice just being with him !!!!!!


Riley had a nice Valentine's Day .... she got a bear from mommy, and alittle my little pony stuffed animal from daddy, and mimi and papa got her a stuffed little frog, and pappy and nana got her a cute little butterfly =) !!!!!!! She got lots of goodies for her 1st Valentine's Day =) !!!!!!!!!!!


Well ...... Vday is over but since we didnt get to go out we are goin to go out another night =) !!!

Tomorrow is TGIF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, here it is Thursday night ..... yeah tom is FRIDAY WOO HOO !!!!!!! Everybody always can't wait for the weekend to come around ..... We dread Mondays lol and when Mondays come .... We can't till Friday !!!!!!!

I don't know what we will be doing this weekend, hopefully Cody will be well by then so we can do something fun !!!! I plan on having a drink this weekend if we get to go out !!!!!

Could not imagine !

Last night about 8 pm Cody started getting so sick =( and still has it today and it's after 7 pm so I have had Riley all by myself and of course she has been fussy off and on and it's not always easy at times !!!!!

But it made me realize big time how hard it would be having to raise a baby or kid all alone and there are so many people out there that have too .... I know if I ever had too I would do what I had to do but it's hard and frustrating at times and you don't realize how much you have help with a baby until u don't for a couple days !!!!!

I think highly of any parent whether the kid is newborn, a few years or even teenagers etc.... b/c it is never easy ... things just change with age !!!!! When they get older you have other things to worry about such a sex, drugs, driving, and all that kind of stuf but it definately makes it easier to have a spouse !!!!!

I could not imagine being a single parent =( !!!!!!!

You don't realize !!!!!!

I don't think you really realize how much you miss something until you can't do it ..lol !!! I miss taking a bath so bad .. I know it won't be much longer or at least I hope he won't but still I am dying to take a bath !!!!!! I would love to just take a regular shower and not worry about having to cover my incision area lol .... it is such a pain !!!!!!!!! I am so glad I am not hurting all the time now woo hoo and I am starting to get back to normal =) !!!!!

On the hunt !!!

So the other day I found the cutest bear ever and of course I had to get it for Riley's Valentine's present !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be her 1st Valentine's Day =) !!!! It's going to be so much .... Hmmmm ...wonder what else she will get for Valentine's !!!!!

I have to find a cute Valentine's day shirt or outfit for her ... They had them at Walmart and of course they were for bigger kids =( !!!! I hope I can find one !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So ..... Now I am on the hunt for a cute Valentine's outfit or shirt for her lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So Fast !

Riley will be 1 month old in 5 more days .... time seriously does fly by =) !!!!! I can't wait till she starts doing things .... I know you probably think I am crazy for saying that lol and at the same time I want her to stay this small also =) !!!!!! I just can't wait to go through the different stages with her and watching her grow up and learn !!!!!! She has so much to learn and here Cody and I get to teach her =) !!!!!!! She is just the most precious gift I could ever ask for .... and when you have a baby ,,, the love is like nothing else ..... so very hard to explain !!!!!!!!!!!!
and you always here as bad as some hate being pregnant lol ( I was one of them ) It was so worth it !!!!!!!
Of course ,,,, right now I don;t wanna even think about having another and of course Cody would like to have 1 or 2 more but I don;t know !!!! We will see when the time comes, he thinks I will change my mind but I think I could really be happy with just 1 !!!!!!!!

Yesterday Feb 5, 2010 was Cody's 30th bday so Happy birthday baby .... I love you !!!!! I hope you had an amazing day considering we had alittle argument and I got my feelings hurt really bad and was mad at you for quiet awhile !!!!!!!! When he got home from work .... he got his presents for Riley and I and then alittle bit later, we sat down to have along talk about our argument and made up !!!!! Then we got ready and dropped Riley off at Nana and Pappy's then went to dinner for Cody's bday !!!!!!!!

Here is such a great guy and I am so lucky to have him ...... such a good looking guy at 30 =) !!!!

Saturday Feb 6th ....... I threw him a alittle surprise party with just family so that was fun =) !!!so I hope he had a wonderful day today also ... I really wanted to do something really special for him but haven't been able to do much with just having a baby and complications !!!!! but I think he was SURPRISED .... I hope anyways !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shoppin To Do !

Valentine's Day is coming up so I am goin to have to do some shopping !!!!!! I have to find something for cody .... maybe candy and alittle gift card or something for him and also find alittle something for Riley =) !!!!! Here it will be her first Valentine's Day =) I need to get her a cute Valentine's Day shirt or something ...... so cute !!!!!!!

Hmmmm..... wonder what Cody and I will do for Valentine's ??? Maybe dinner and who knows what else !!!!!! IF I don't have my stupid vacuum thing attached to me then we will get to go out and I am so ready to go out when I am feeling good =) !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I need to figure out what to get Riley for Valentine's Day =) !!!!!

hate being stuck inside !

I am starting to feel like getting out of the house more thank goodness b/c being cooped up is not for me .... of course it's not as easy to pick up and go when you have a newborn b/c you have to make sure you have everything ready in the diaper bag, formula packed, etc lol and of course I haven't been able to drive so have been stuck at home .... and now that I can drive I still can't lift the car seat so still stuck at home lol !!!!!

I'm cooped up in the house and when I get out it is to go to the dr .... I am having to go 3 times a week and I hate going to the dr's anyways so this really bites !!!!! I don't really wanna go out now b/c I have this stupid vacuum thing that is attached to my incision but it is helping it heal faster and hopefully I won't have to wear it after this Friday WOO HOO !!!! I hope anyways lol !!! Just please let me get back to normal..... I can't wait till I can take a nice hot bubble bath =) !!!! I can't wait to get out and go shopping or a pedi ....yeah so fun !!!!
